How very interesting

I have far too many interests. I’m fairly certain that if I were to focus on only one thing, I’d be so much farther than I am now.

I like web development, photography, cooking, jogging and exercising, painting and illustration, design, animation, writing, volunteer work, teaching and tutoring, reading forums and documentation, current events, sewing, reading, cosmetic and fashion design, video games, business and productivity information, and various crafts and stupid little things.

This doesn’t include silly things like my job, friends, freelance, or anything like that.

If I gave up any of the above, I fear I might be crippled by the loss of it. Everything I like has come in handy at one point or another.

I don’t know why I bother, though. None of it proves valuable at obtaining the one thing I want the most.

  1. First off..

    Quit watching Futurama

Buy a 32” LCD monitor for your living room. Hook up your computer and have a blast.

And for GAWD sakes!!! do not use ball mice!!!

  2. If you have survived without this ‘one thing you want most’ for as long as you have, chances are you really don’t need it. This is true. Even if for no other reason than the obvious fact that it doesn’t need you. Come to peace with this idea and you can start sleeping in your bed again, and living your life, and not feeling guilty about something that really doesn’t matter.

  3. Just because it doesn’t matter to you doesn’t meant it doesn’t matter to me.
Survival rates are not a good measure of quality of life.
