Apartment Woes and Comic Con Throes
Saturday September 6, 2008 | RandomI can’t move in. There’s some major wall damage in the bedroom and bathroom that needs fixing. Considering the realty company is backed up three months on repairs, I probably won’t be moving in any time soon.
In the meantime, I’m hunting down furniture and continuing to pack. It’s funny – when I pack up almost everything I own, my life day-to-day really doesn’t change. I guess that’s a sign I really don’t need most of it.
I’m pretty bummed about the whole thing – settling in was supposed to get crossed off as soon as was possible, and now it may not even happen.
The comic con is coming up in a month and a few days. The program guide is going pretty busily at this point; there are signs to print off, and fanart to do.
I made sure to make a very, very specific advertisement submissions document but I have a feeling the majority of submitters only read the pricing. Thanks to my excellent time at Suckerpunch, I treated the program guide as a magazine and went through all the standards and prep involved. It makes my work so much easier and cleaner – that is, if everyone listens to my outline.
I’ve got a lot to do, oh boy oh boy.
