Everything (and all at once)

Thursday August 28, 2008 | Random

I’ve been leading a pretty busy life lately, and it just looks like it’s going to get busier.

Right Now:
Patrick needs to get Radio Schizophrenio, his blog, and the Huevos Rancheros sites done and launched. I need to relaunch this site, make my other site, make I Ate Winnipeg… web development crunchtime, and this weekend I’m stuck on lowspeed housesitting.

In September:
Well, I signed my lease, and my possession date is September 1st. However, I haven’t been able to get ahold of my caretaker OR my property manager. I’m going to end up paying for days where I won’t have keys to the place. So far, I’ve been pretty unimpressed with my renting experience.

I’ve barely even packed up my stuff, I haven’t got most of my furniture, I’m so behind that it’s crippling me from moving forward.

In mid-September, my family has been planning an event to which I can’t divulge the full details. However, it’s a lot of work and a lot of planning and a lot of mail and phonecalls.

In October:
The Comic Con is fast approaching. I’ve got signage to make, programs to design, fanart to draw, real art to draw, a table to design, and who knows what else in between. This is going to be such a crazy time.

In November:
I’ve been granted the great opportunity to teach a distance education course for the University of Winnipeg through Lanoie.com. I’ll be teaching Introduction to XHTML and Advanced XHTML to a class of what will most likely be around fifteen people. I’ll be pounding my fist to the desk while emphasizing web standards and proper markup in a delightfully melodramatic way. This is a great opportunity, and I really want to do it, and I’m pretty pumped.

I really, really need a category called “Brainsort.”
