I've been busy

I’ve:

  • rigged up two Textpattern templates
  • painted three paintings, gotten them printed
  • purchased a digital picture frame in which to exhibit a) step-by-steps of my artwork at shows so people can see some of my process, and b) all my certificates and awards without converting them to wallpaper. This was with extreme trouble, mind you
  • watched all of Molly/Oban Star Racer
  • started viewing (very disappointing) apartments
  • completely messed up my finances, currently in the red (savings excluded) for the long weekend
  • found an epic gift for a friend’s birthday from eBay
  • done not enough at work
  • gained weight and let my eating habits destroy my health and stopped exercising
  • renewed my domains
  • attended Ai-Kon and bought much swag, including a red Mario mushroom plush, Paranoia Agent box set, Mana potion, tachikoma figurine (which I lost one arm to and am very mad at myself), and other neato things
  • designed a really pretty logo for a company of a friend of a coworker of mine
  • given myself a pretty decent manicure and pedicure, and then chipped it
  • dropped almost completely off my social radar. Sorry, friends
  • been very, very tired and sad

You know, looking at it all in a list, I haven’t done much at all. It just seemed to take a lot more exertion than I realized. I pushed myself, but pushing myself appears to be doing anything these days. I need to eat better and exercise again, and have something good happen.

I got a chilling feeling of winter (kind of like a flashback) today for no reason, and it sent a feeling of pure dread through me. I don’t want it to be winter. I like fall, but it’s made bitter by the season it precedes.

I have so much to do, yet I’m still crippled and I don’t know why (well, for the most part). Nothing’s changed. I’m at a second peak to the eternal summer, and it’s wearing me down.

For the folks out there who like my busposts, I want to blog about three bus people soon: Hugo, Becky, and Cancer Man. They’re all regulars I’ve “gotten to know” since I started my job, and I really do find it fascinating.
